Marketing is about understanding your customer’s needs, wants, and desires, and tailoring your products or services to meet them.

As Seth Godin says:

“Marketing is no longer about the stuff that you make, but the stories you tell.”

Action: Don’t focus on the hard sell. Instead concentrate on connecting with your customers on an emotional level and fix the problems they want to solve.

Action: Sell feelings, not features or facts. By creating engaging and informative content that helps solve your customer’s problem (or allow them to learn something new), you will build trust and create a strong and meaningful brand that resonates with people on a deeper level.
